Opt for open-ended questions over yes/no ones: 'How can I improve my relationship with this person?' will give you far more to work with than 'Is it going to work out?' Also keep in mind that tarot is designed to illuminate, not deliver fixed answers — it highlights pathways and dynamics, but the future is never set in stone.

Bring the focus back to yourself and what you can influence, rather than trying to read others' thoughts or decisions. And make sure to give context: on Nostra, you describe your situation, and the more specific your question, the more relevant and personalized your interpretation will be.

Finally, if you want timing guidance, weave it into the question itself — for example, 'What can I expect in my love life over the next three months?' works much better than 'When will I meet someone?'

For ethical and legal reasons, please avoid questions related to health issues, the outcome of a legal dispute, or financial investment decisions. It's generally not recommended to ask the exact same question multiple times without waiting. Each reading reflects the energies surrounding a situation at that specific moment, and repeating the same question in quick succession tends to create more confusion than clarity. The cards from your first reading are the ones meant for you at that time — they carry the tarot's message for that moment.

We suggest waiting at least two weeks before asking the same question again, unless something significant has changed in your situation.

That said, if you feel you phrased your question poorly or didn't give enough context, go ahead — rephrase it, add more detail, and do a new reading. You can also ask a different question on the same topic. Just avoid asking the exact same question multiple times in a row.
