Free Online AI Tarot Readings

Most online tarot tools offer generic, one-size-fits-all interpretations. At Nostra, our AI analyzes your reading based on the specific question and situation you describe — so you get precise, truly personalized insights, not pre-written text.

What also sets us apart is how you choose your cards. On most platforms, even when it feels like you're picking a card, the system is randomly assigning one at the moment of your click. At Nostra, the cards are genuinely shuffled and laid face-down in front of you before you make your selection — the cards you draw are truly yours.

The result: an authentic, meaningful reading experience — available any time, in complete privacy, and at a fraction of the cost of an in-person session.

Yes. Two of our readings are always free and never require credits: the yes/no reading and the card of the day.

Our AI-interpreted readings require credits — but you can try them completely free of charge. Simply create an account to receive 3 free readings (8 credits), with no credit card required, just an email address.

After that, you can choose to purchase additional credits or subscribe to a monthly plan — entirely up to you.

Yes — as long as you're the one truly choosing your cards. The power of tarot comes from being drawn to certain cards over others.

That's exactly what we've recreated online: you shuffle your cards, they're laid face-down in front of you, and you select the ones that call to you.

On most other platforms, even if you feel like you're making a choice, a card is randomly assigned at the moment of your click. At Nostra, the cards are genuinely shuffled and pre-positioned before you select — so the ones you draw are truly yours.

Yes. Each tarot card carries specific, well-established meanings — documented and refined over centuries. While experienced readers bring their own intuition to a session, tarot is a learnable art, and our AI excels at applying this knowledge to deliver reliable, consistent, and objective interpretations.

We built our AI specifically for tarot, so its analysis is genuinely relevant to the question you ask.

That said — whether interpreted by AI or a human reader — tarot remains a tool for exploration, not prediction. (See the next question for more on that.)

Tarot doesn't predict the future in a fixed or absolute way. It's first and foremost a tool for exploration — one that sheds light on the energies, opportunities, and obstacles surrounding a situation. Your future is always shaped by your own choices and actions. By illuminating your present circumstances, tarot helps you reconnect with your intuition and ask yourself the right questions to move forward.

No — and that was never the goal. Consulting a reader in person remains a unique experience: the direct exchange allows them to refine their interpretation intuitively and guide you on a deeper level.

Nostra has a different purpose: making tarot accessible to everyone, at any time, at a very low cost, with quality personalized interpretations. For certain situations, there's simply no substitute for the guidance of an experienced practitioner.

We've handpicked a selection of trusted professionals for those moments. Feel free to email us at contact@nostra-tarot.com and we'll be happy to recommend one. And if you're a professional interested in working with us, we'd love to hear from you too.

It depends on the reading. The yes/no reading and the card of the day are available without an account.

Our AI-interpreted readings, however, do require one. Creating an account is free — just an email address, no credit card needed — and you'll receive 3 free readings (8 credits) when you sign up.

Your account also keeps a full history of all your readings, so you can revisit them whenever you like.

Never, just to try it. You create your account with an email address only, and all your free readings remain accessible without any payment information.

You'll only need to add a payment method if you decide to purchase additional credits or subscribe. Trying Nostra is completely free.

You'll always have access to our two free readings that don't require credits — the yes/no reading and the card of the day — with no limitations whatsoever.

If you'd like to continue using our AI-interpreted readings, you can purchase a credit pack or subscribe to a monthly plan (see the next question for the difference).

Nothing is automatic: you are never charged without explicitly choosing to be.

Both give you access to our AI-interpreted readings. The difference comes down to flexibility and price.

Credit packs are one-off purchases with no expiration date — your credits stay available for as long as you want. Ideal if you read occasionally and prefer to go at your own pace.

The monthly subscription gives you a set number of credits each month at a significantly lower per-credit rate. It's the most cost-effective option if you read regularly. And since there's no commitment, you can cancel at any time in just a few clicks from your account.

In just a few clicks, at any time, with no need to contact us. Head to your account and cancel in 3 clicks. Once cancelled, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then stops — no renewal, no questions asked.

Completely secure. All payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's leading online payment providers, trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. Your card details are encrypted and never pass through our servers — we never have access to them.

We accept credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal — whichever works best for you.

Absolutely. Your readings and the questions you ask are strictly personal and confidential — visible only to you, through your account.

We never sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Tarot is an intimate practice, and we take your privacy and anonymity seriously.

For more details, you can read our privacy policy.

Yes, at any time and entirely on your own. In line with GDPR, you can delete your account and all associated data directly from your account settings. Deletion is permanent. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at contact@nostra-tarot.com.

A well-framed question makes all the difference in the quality of your reading.

Opt for open-ended questions over yes/no ones: 'How can I improve my relationship with this person?' will give you far more to work with than 'Is it going to work out?' Also keep in mind that tarot is designed to illuminate, not deliver fixed answers — it highlights pathways and dynamics, but the future is never set in stone.

Bring the focus back to yourself and what you can influence, rather than trying to read others' thoughts or decisions. And make sure to give context: on Nostra, you describe your situation, and the more specific your question, the more relevant and personalized your interpretation will be.

Finally, if you want timing guidance, weave it into the question itself — for example, 'What can I expect in my love life over the next three months?' works much better than 'When will I meet someone?'

For ethical and legal reasons, please avoid questions related to health issues, the outcome of a legal dispute, or financial investment decisions. These matters require the expertise of qualified professionals. Tarot is above all a tool for personal exploration — it's here to help you better understand your situation and explore your options, but it cannot replace professional advice in these specific areas.

It's generally not recommended to ask the exact same question multiple times without waiting. Each reading reflects the energies surrounding a situation at that specific moment, and repeating the same question in quick succession tends to create more confusion than clarity. The cards from your first reading are the ones meant for you at that time — they carry the tarot's message for that moment.

We suggest waiting at least two weeks before asking the same question again, unless something significant has changed in your situation.

That said, if you feel you phrased your question poorly or didn't give enough context, go ahead — rephrase it, add more detail, and do a new reading. You can also ask a different question on the same topic. Just avoid asking the exact same question multiple times in a row.

Hi, I'm Cannelle — the founder of Nostra. Nostra was born from the meeting of two of my passions: technology and tarot. I've been working in tech for several years, and alongside that, I've always been drawn to spirituality and psychology.

One Sunday, while doing a reading for myself, I had an idea: what if I used AI to interpret my cards? The result surprised me — it surfaced things I hadn't considered. The interpretation wasn't perfect yet, but the seed of an AI-powered tarot app had been planted.

I started by working deeply on the AI to ensure it could deliver reliable, precise, and truly personalized interpretations. Then I focused on recreating a card selection experience as close as possible to an in-person reading — one where you're genuinely the one choosing your cards. I didn't do it alone: feedback from early, passionate users was invaluable. In September 2024, after six months of work, Nostra was launched.

Tarot is a powerful tool for reconnecting with your intuition and asking yourself the right questions. Nostra will never replace the experience of sitting with a skilled reader, but I hope it makes tarot accessible to anyone — at any time, in full privacy, and at a very low cost.

I hope Nostra brings you as much clarity as it has brought so many others. And please don't hesitate to write to me at cannelle@nostra-tarot.com — your thoughts and feedback mean a lot to me and help make Nostra better every day.

Yes! The Nostra team has just launched Nostra Astro, an AI astrology app. Unlike a classic horoscope based only on your sun sign, it reads your complete birth chart as a whole, takes your current situation into account, and offers daily and monthly horoscopes, compatibility reports and a chat with an AI astrologer. Your birth chart analysis is free, with no card needed.
